A new chapter has begun for *Temante* in the Sekyere Kumawu District as the District Chief Executive, Hon. Kwasi Amankwaa alias Tommy Cee, has officially handed over the Temante Gari Factory.
The handover marks another bold step towards *job creation, local empowerment, and economic growth* in Sekyere Kumawu.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Hon. Tommy Cee stated that the factory is part of the Assembly’s commitment to drive industrialization, add value to local agricultural produce, and create sustainable employment opportunities for the youth and women in the area.
The Temante Gari Factory is expected to boost gari production, reduce post-harvest losses for cassava farmers, and serve as a major source of income for families in Temante and its adjoining communities.
Residents and farmers have lauded the DCE for the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will transform the local economy.
The project aligns with the broader vision of *Kumawu Mpontuo Nti* – accelerating development and making Kumawu an attractive destination for investment.
