The Regional Director of *NADMO-Ashanti*, *Alhaji Nasir*, on Tuesday morning, November 3, 2026, led a delegation of management to deliver a *citation of appreciation* to the Chief Executive Officer of the *Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies, Ghana (COMAC)*, *Dr. Riverson Oppong*, in Accra.
The NADMO-Ashanti team was made up of the Regional Director, Officer in Charge of the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), *Mr. Abdul-Bassit Abdulai* and *Nii Mensah* of Transport & Operations.
*Mr. Festus Amoyaw Lartey*, of X’press Gas was the facilitator.
The citation was in appreciation of support from the Chamber to NADMO-Ashanti for the *dredging and desilting of major drains* to help curb flooding disaster in the major rainy season of *June/July this year, 2026*.
The Regional Director commended COMAC for its continuous partnership and corporate social responsibility in supporting disaster risk reduction efforts in the Ashanti Region.
Receiving the citation, Dr. Riverson Oppong expressed gratitude to NADMO-Ashanti for the recognition and pledged the Chamber’s continuous commitment to support efforts aimed at protecting lives and property.
