Journalism is more than what is seen on screen.

A crew member of Oyerepa Radio has given the public a glimpse of the unseen stress journalists endure to deliver accurate and timely news.

In a Facebook post, the journalist shared a photo taken at about 3:30am on Sunday morning at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, where the NPP’s Executive Officers Elections were held.

According to him, he and his entire crew had to wait patiently for the Electoral Commission (EC) to collate and declare winners before they could sign off from the coverage.

“Forgive me crew ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™ Oyerepa Radio.. Certainly the world must know the other side journalist do not show the world. The stress we go through just to get them the accurate news and on time,” he wrote.

He added hashtags #GodBlessTheJournalist #JournalismIsNotACrime #Passion_Power_Perseverance #MorningMan360 to celebrate the resilience of journalists.

The post has since attracted commendations from listeners who praised the Oyerepa team for their dedication and commitment to credible election coverage.
