*Students encouraged to make regular visit to library to broaden their knowledge in schools*

The District Chief executive for Amansie South District Hon Clement Opoku has entreated students in various schools in the country to make regular visit to libraries to broaden their knowledge.

He indicated that cultivating the habit of reading always widening one’s scope of knowledge and building the requisite capabilities as student to excel not only in school but in life.

The DCE who is also a past student of Asanteman SHS made this advice during the unveil of the school library refurbished by the Asanteman old students association.

Hon Clement Opoku Gyamfi asked the students to read more instead of engaging in sports betting.

In addition, Mr George Owusu Adusei president of Asanteman Past Students Global Association explaining the objective of the support indicated that the library had been in deplorable state which prevented two batches of students from using the facility.

Hence, they refurbished the library to put it in good use to facilitate learning in the school.

Lastly the he headmaster of Asanteman SHS Mr Nathaniel Antwi Asamoah on behalf of the school pledged to ensure maintenance culture to improve the library.
