The Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, received H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas, African Union High Representative for Silencing the Guns, during a courtesy visit.

The visit served as an opportunity to formally welcome H.E. Dr. Chambas following the CEO’s assumption of office and to brief him on the mandate, vision, and strategic priorities of the Tree Crops Development Authority in advancing Ghana’s tree crops sector.

Discussions also highlighted the importance of strengthening institutions, empowering communities, and creating sustainable economic opportunities for the youth through agriculture and agribusiness development.

The CEO expressed appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas for the visit and commended his immense contributions to peacebuilding, governance, diplomacy, and inclusive development across the African continent.
