Neriah Obeng Gyawu Afriyie, a Basic 5 pupil from Forces Basic School in Kumasi, has been awarded a scholarship and cash prize by Mr. Andrews Augustus Nana Kwasi, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
This recognition is for her outstanding poetry recital at the 69th Independence Day celebration in Kumasi. Mr. Kwasi will cover her educational expenses until she completes Junior High School (JHS), aiming to motivate her and inspire other children to explore their talents.
The headmistress and parents of the pupil are grateful for Mr. Kwasi’s generosity and commitment to Afriyie’s education. This gesture not only supports Afriyie’s academic journey but also encourages young pupils to develop their talents and strive for excellence.
