Nana Nkansah Boadu Accused of Spreading Falsehoods Against Ashanti Regional Minister

The Ashanti Youth for Development (AYD) is demanding an apology from Nana Nkansah Boadu for leveling false accusations against the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene.

According to AYD, Nana Nkansah Boadu’s claims that Dr. Amoakohene orchestrated chaos at the Ashanti Regional Council of State election are not only baseless but also defamatory.

AYD emphasized that Dr. Amoakohene, a respected medical professional and leader, has never met or engaged with Nana Nkansah Boadu, making the accusations even more unfounded. Furthermore, the interview referenced by Nana Nkansah Boadu was not granted by Dr. Amoakohene, but by the Regional Chairman, and the issues mentioned are inaccurate.

The group stressed that such reckless statements damage reputations, mislead the public, and undermine peace.

They urged Nana Nkansah Boadu to issue an immediate and unreserved apology for his wrongful accusations. If not, Dr. Amoakohene may pursue legal action to seek redress.

AYD advised that political discourse should be guided by truth, fairness, and respect for individuals’ reputations, warning that spreading falsehoods for personal or political gain will not be tolerated.
