The Kumawu constituency was filled with excitement as the District Chief Executive (DCE) Kwasi Amankwaa together with the King Barima Sarfo Tweneboa Kodua and MP Ernest Yaw Anim embarked on the Papa Nantwie Festival showcasing the tremendous progress made in the area and further cementing their commitment to the people.

The festival, which kicked off with a series of health walks, saw the DCE join residents in promoting healthy living and unity.

The walks, which traversed various communities, were an opportunity for the DCE to engage with the people, listen to their concerns, and share his vision for the constituency.


As part of the festival, the DCE also reached out by donating essential items to his people. This gesture has been widely appreciated, with many expressing gratitude for the DCE’s kindness and concern for their well-being.

Women and young girls in Kumawu are also benefiting from the DCE’s empowerment initiatives. There were trainings and resources allocated to support their entrepreneurial endeavors, with many expressing optimism about their future prospects.

The festival was crowned with a massive concert, featuring Shatta Wale, one of Ghana’s biggest exports. The event drew large crowds creating an unforgettable night of music, dance, and celebration among the people of Kumawu.

In a statement, Kwasi Amankwaa, the DCE expressed his delight at the progress made in Kumawu, attributing the success to the collective efforts of the people and his administration. “We are proud of what we have achieved together, and we are committed to doing more,” he said.
