Ashanti Regional Minister Denies Allegations of Orchestrating Chaos At the Council of state election

Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has been accused by Nana Nkasah Boadu of orchestrating chaos at the Ashanti Regional Council of State election. However, the office of the Ashanti Regional Minister has vehemently denied these allegations, stating that Dr. Amoakohene was engaged in a meeting at the time of the incident and had no knowledge of the violence.

According to reports, Nana Nkasah Boadu alleged on Hello FM that Dr. Amoakohene brought in thugs from Obuasi to cause mayhem during the sorting of the council of state election. However, these claims have been dismissed by the Regional Minister’s office, which maintains that Dr. Amoakohene is committed to upholding peace and order in the region.

It’s worth noting that Dr. Amoakohene, a medical professional and youth leader, was appointed as the Ashanti Regional Minister just last month, on January 15, 2025 to help develop the region and not to cause destruction.

He has expressed his commitment to making the Ashanti region great, and his office has assured the public that he will not engage in any activities that compromise the peace and stability of the region.
