CLASS OF 1998 DONATE DESKS TO OHWIMASE SCHOOLS

Class of 1998 at the Ohwimase Claster of School in the kwadaso Municipality has donated 40 mono desks to the school.

Inadequate student furniture has been a major setback in the provision of quality education in the school.

The situation has compelled two or more students to share one desks in the classrooms and this affecting effective teaching and learning.

The President of the year group,Mr Gabriel Ampofo Menu noted that,the challenge has been there since they completed school hence their decision to support the school.

“We been repairing several chairs over the years for the school and whenever we come,we see students sitting on one chair more than the number but this time,we decided to donate these chairs”

Mr Gabriel Ampofo called on students to take good care of the desks in order to serve the purpose in which it was donated.

The headmaster of Block “B” at the Ohwimase Claster of School,Mr Afrane Thomas commended the group for their kind gesture and called for more support from other year groups.
