The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. MBA Zakaria, has provided free buses to convey delegates for tomorrow’s National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency elections in the district.
Hon. Zakaria said the gesture is aimed at easing the transportation burden on delegates and ensuring massive participation in the constituency elections scheduled for tomorrow.
According to him, all delegates across the various branches in Atwima Nwabiagya North will be transported to the election centre free of charge to enable them exercise their franchise without any stress.
The DCE explained that his support for the party’s internal democratic exercise is part of his commitment to strengthen the NDC at the grassroots level and ensure unity before, during and after the elections.
“We want all our delegates to come and vote peacefully. Transportation should not be a barrier. That is why I have provided buses for free to convey them,” Hon. Zakaria stated.
Delegates who have heard about the free bus arrangement have expressed gratitude to Hon. MBA Zakaria for his timely intervention, describing it as a laudable initiative that will encourage full participation.
They also commended him for his continuous support for the growth of the NDC in Atwima Nwabiagya North.
The NDC constituency elections across the country are expected to be highly competitive as the party reorganizes its base ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Hon. Zakaria has called on all delegates and aspirants to conduct themselves peacefully and ensure a successful and incident-free election in Atwima Nwabiagya North.
