Aspirant for the Ashanti Regional Communications Officer position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahmud Kabore, says he has successfully gone through vetting and has been cleared to contest.
According to him, he has secured ballot number 1 on the ballot paper.
Mr. Kabore made this known in a statement after his vetting, expressing appreciation to Almighty God for the milestone.
He said his vision for the communications department is anchored on unity, effective communication, grassroots empowerment and victory in 2028.
He has therefore called on all party faithful to rally behind his candidature to build a stronger, more united and effective communication front across all 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
“Now, I invite you all to join hands with me as we turn this vision into reality. Together, we can build a stronger, more united, and more effective communication front across all 47 constituencies of Ashanti Region,” he said.
He added: “This is bigger than one individual. It is about all of us. It is about our party and our victory.”
He is appealing to delegates to vote for him as number 1 on the ballot under the slogan ONE TEAM. ONE VOICE. ONE MISSION.
