“Bipartisan Boost: Ghana’s Tree Crops Sector Gets Parliamentary Support”

Ghana’s Tree Crops Investment Summit 2026 just got a major boost with Majority Leader Hon. Mahama Ayariga and Minority Leader Hon. Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin on board.

They stressed the importance of cashew and coconut crops in diversifying Ghana’s economy, empowering farmers, and expanding exports.

 

Their participation shows strong cross-party support for the sector, with Parliament committed to unlocking its full potential. The Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA) is leading the charge to transform the sector, focusing on value addition, job creation, and export growth.
