Deputy General Secretary of the NDC in charge of Operation Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor has admitted to the high level of mistrust they have for the Jean Mensah led Electoral Commission (EC).
According to him the opposition party has gotten to the point that it even mistrusts letters written by the EC and believes that these letters emanate from their biggest political opponents the New Patriotic Party.

Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor was speaking in an interview with Sena Nombo on the Gold Morning Conversation.
When asked if the NDC trusts the EC to organize free and fair elections in 2024, the Deputy NDC General Secretary said the NDC intends to go into the elections with their own commission, security and judiciary as they have learnt their lessons from the 2020 elections.
