National Democratic Congress four members suspended in Asawase over anti-party conduct

The leadership of the NDC in the Asawase Constituency wishes to inform all party faithful that, following a formal petition and subsequent investigations, disciplinary action has been taken against these members for engaging in conduct contrary to the values and principles of the party.

The following individuals have been suspended with immediate effect and refered to the deciplinary committee:

Murtala Muhammed, Branch Youth Organizer – Malam Kataki

Farida Mohammed, Branch Women’s Organizer – Malam Ladan

Aminu Issah, Branch Communications Officer – Methodist Home Science JSS 2

Salisu Sanusi, Branch Communications Officer – Methodist JSS

These members were identified in a widely circulated video in which they made derogatory and disrespectful comments directed at the President, the National Executive of the party, and the nominated Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokore Mampong.

Such behavior is in direct violation of the party’s code of conduct and undermines the unity and discipline that are essential to our success. The Asawase Constituency Executive Committee takes these matters seriously and reaffirms its commitment to protecting the integrity of the party.

We urge all members to remain respectful, united, and focused on the greater objective of advancing the NDC’s vision and mission.

Signed, Constituency Secretary NDC – Asawase Constituency
