Former Parliamentary candidate for Kumawu Constituency, Hon Akwasi Amankwaa(Tommy Cee) has donated roofing sheets each to some victims of the recent rainstorm in Kumawu.
The rainstorm occurred in the communities ripping off the roofs of several houses leaving many families vulnerable to the elements but with the timely intervention of Hon. Akwasi Amankwaa(Tommy Cee) has brought relief to the affected families.
Speaking to the media after the donation, Hon Akwasi Amankwaa (Tommy Cee) his sympathy to the victims and emphasized on the need for more support from individuals and organizations to help them recover from the disaster.
He also called on the government to provide assistance to the affected families, stating that the government has a responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens.
The donation by Hon. Akwasi Amankwaa has been commended by the affected families, who expressed their gratitude for his kind gesture and noted that his intervention had come at a time when they needed it the most and also given them hope for a brighter future.
The District NADMO Director for Sekyere Kumawu , Mr Emmanuel Obeng, expressed gratitude to the Akwasi Amankwaa and asked him to continue to respond to their needs when they called on him.
