Minister for the Interior pays working visit to National disaster management organization (NADMO)

As part of ongoing working visit to the agencies under the Ministry of the Interior,  Hon Muntaka had the opportunity to visit the National Disaster Management Organization’s (NADMO) headquarters in Accra.

This engagement was pivotal in fostering a deeper understanding of NADMO’s operational framework and its critical role in disaster management within Ghana. During his visit, he interacted with both management and staff members, listening attentively to their concerns while also sharing the vision of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama aimed at enhancing the services rendered by agencies under this ministry.

Hon Muntaka took the occasion to commend NADMO staff for their unwavering dedication and efforts in disaster management and mitigation.

Their commitment is essential in safeguarding communities from potential hazards. Furthermore, Minister assured them of the government’s unwavering commitment to providing necessary resources and support that would enable them to perform their responsibilities effectively.

This visit forms an integral part of my broader initiative to familiarize myself with various agencies under the Ministry of the Interior. Through these interactions, he aim to identify areas for improvement and foster collaborative efforts that will ultimately enhance operational efficiency within these critical institutions.
