The Ashanti Regional Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Marvin Philip Frazer Norman, strongly refuted the claims made by the ruling NPP regarding the alleged enlistment of “Muscle Enforcers”ahead of the upcoming December 7, 2024, elections.
He made it clear that the NDC is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent electoral process, vowing to resist any attempts at election interference.

During a press conference held in Kumasi while overseeing the distribution of essential supplies to the 47 constituencies in the Ashanti region, Mr Marvin emphatically denied the accusations, labeling them as “patently untrue”and urging the public to disregard such misinformation.

The rationale behind providing 470 sacks of rice, fuel containers, sanitary napkins, and medical provisions to the constituencies was to support party representatives in their election preparations.
By distributing these supplies, the NDC aims to empower its members to safeguard their ballots and secure a significant victory in the upcoming general elections. He added.
The gesture was met with appreciation and gratitude from numerous parliamentary candidates, constituency chairpersons, and female coordinators who accepted the provisions on behalf of their constituencies.
They praised Mr Marvin for his generosity and pledged to work diligently to protect the party’s interests and ensure a successful electoral outcome.
