50 BRILLIANT BUT NEEDY STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM DEPUTY MINISTER FOR LANDS

As Part of his efforts to promote education in his Constituency, the MP for Manhyia North who doubles as Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon Akwasi Konadu has awarded scholarships to over 50 students in his Constituency.

Speaking at the short ceremony, the minister emphasized the need for the students who are willing to further their education but do not have the support to be assisted so as to achieve their goals.

According to the MP, since he assumed office, he has awarded several scholarships to students within his constituency and will continue to support them to achieve higher level.

He called on the students to take their studies seriously so as to become useful citizens in the constituency.

Most of the beneficiary students are from public universities and teacher and nursing colleges. This support will help ease the burden of parents. The scholarship covers their fees, accommodation and part of their feeding.

Receiving the cheque, the beneficiaries thanked their MP and pledged to study hard so as to make their MP and constituents proud.
