*1000S DEFY TORRENTIAL RAINS TO WELCOME NAPO IN ATWIMA MPONUA.*

The event in *Atwima Mponua* underscores the enthusiasm and support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area, despite challenging weather conditions *.Dr.Matthew Opoku Prempeh,* known as *”Napo,”* was warmly welcomed by a large crowd, including both the youth and elderly, who braved the torrential rains to show their support.

The event highlighted the various developmental projects that the NPP has undertaken in the Atwima Mponua constituency, including the Agenda 111 hospital initiative, road infrastructure, and the ongoing stadium complex.

In his speech,Dr.Matthew Opoku Prempeh(NAPO) emphasized the importance of continuity in governance under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate for the 2024 elections.

He also highlighted the party’s long-standing strategy of having a Northern presidential candidate paired with a Southern running mate,a tradition he noted has been consistent since 1992.

Napo criticized the opposition for their stance on key policies such as the Free Senior High School initiative and the restoration of nursing and teacher training allowances. He reassured the people of Mponua that the NPP would continue to prioritize their development, with a particular focus on the mining of bauxite in Nyinahin.

The parliamentary candidate, *Seth Osei- Akoto(Nana Owusu Sekyere)* , echoed these sentiments and urged the constituents to support the NPP to ensure continued development in the district. The presence of divisional chiefs, traditional authorities, and other prominent figures at the event further underscored its significance.
