ASAWASE ST. THERESA’S CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT UNION DONATES AIR-CONDITIONED TO ASAWASI POLICE STATION

As part of their cooperate social responsibility, the Asawase St. Theresa’s Cooperative Credit Union Ltd has donated Air-conditioned, Fan’s and assorted drinks worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the Aswasi Police Service ( ROYAL JUNCTION).

Speaking during the presentation, the Board Chairman Mr. Simon Boachie Mensah said the donation was necessitated upon a request made by the Ghana Police Service. He said the Union took the request as very important considering the role the police service plays in the community.

He called on the Police for continue support and collaboration in the community to ensure the safety of all people and institutions.

Receiving the presentation on behalf of the Ghana Police Service, Chief Inspector Effah promised the service would take good care of the donated items and also do their best to maintain law and order within the Asawase area. He appealed to other benevolent institutions to keep on supporting the Ghana Police Service.

Chief Inspector Effah said the service least expected the kind gesture from the Asawase St. Theresa’s Cooperative Credit Union.

On her part, the General manager for the Asawase St Theresa’s Cooperative Credit Union Mrs Regina Osei- Poku called on the Ghana Police Service and the good people of the city to do business with them since they are considered as one of the most credible and reliable financial institution within the region.
