Hannat Foundation Ghana, a Non-Governmental Organisation, on Monday 5th February 2024 donated learning materials to pupils and teachers at Bena D/A Primary School, a deprived community in the Adansi North District in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

Bena, a farming community, is about 35minutes drive from Fomena. It is a community that lacks almost all social amenities that make life comfortable.
The Foundation Donated learning materials such as exercise books, school bags, pens, pencils, erazors, cardboards, Bluetooth speaker among others to the learners and teachers.

The Founder of Hannat Foundation Ghana, Mr. Ibrahim Asante Boadu highligted the importance of educating the younger generation stressing on girl child education as a way to empower them.
The country director of the Foundation, Ms Aisha Asantewaa Boadu emphasized that the foundation aims at empowering all persons especially women and children in deprived communities and it is that vision that had motivated them to move to Bena to do such donations. She told the learners that the only thing that could bring them at par with other children in the cities is education. She advised the teachers to make good use of the teacher learner resouces donated.

The District Guidance and Counselling coordinator, Mr Julius Neils Saka Hesse encouraged the pupils to take their studies serious and be regular and punctual to school.
The school was represented by the headteacher, Mr. Eric Donkor with his staff, a section of the P.T.A and one hundred and thirty one (131) pupils who were the ultimate beneficiaries of the varied learning materials that will enhance their academic work.

In his address, the headteacher of the school expressed appreciation and stressed how the donation by Hannat Foundation is going to enhance teaching and learning. He called on other donor organizations to come to the aid of the school to provide befitting classrooms and other resources that would enrich the learning experience for the school.

He invoked God’s blessings on the foundation and its staff, and expressed the hope that it is not going to be the last time the foundation would come to their aid.
