The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the NPP Bernard Antwi Bosiako (Wontumi) has boldly and openly warned one of the NPP’s presidential hopefuls, Kennedy Agyapong against his (Kennedy) threatening messages on him (Wontumi) to either desist from it or get himself arrested.
Chairman wontumi in a presser in Kumasi today, expressed disappointment in Kennedy Agyapong over his insults rained on the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, Education Minister, Dr Osei Yaw Adutwum and Wontumi himself during his showdown walk held in Kumasi last Saturday.
“I will not stay adamant for you, Kennedy to continue to insult and threaten me like you did to Ahmed Suale. If you dare threaten me again, I will call for your arrest.” Wontumi said.
Again, the chairman debunked Mr. Kennedy Agyapong’s statement that Ashantis have ignored their persons in the NPP and have gone for a Northerner (Bawumia).
“It is never true like Kennedy Agyapong has said. But we have been supporting Dr. Bawumia because of his humility, loyalty, respect towards the supporters and the leaders of the party”.
