Davido has extended his condolences to his fellow artist, Wizkid, following the passing of his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun.
Using his Insta story, Davido expressed his sadness and offered prayers to Wizkid.
In a Snapchat post, he wrote, “My prayers are with you, my brother @Wizkidayo. Sadness fades away over time.”
Despite their past conflicts, Davido and Wizkid recently reconciled and displayed mutual affection. This was evident when Davido faced the loss of his son, Ifeanyi.
Last year in October, when Davido’s son passed away, Wizkid showed his support during his concerts.
Wizkid’s mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Confirming the news, Sunday Are, Wizkid’s manager for a long time, shared that Mrs Balogun passed away during the early hours of Friday.
“Yes, she passed away this morning, around 1:30 am,” said Sunday Aaare.
The late Mrs Balogun was also the mother of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
