Adwoa Adutwumwaa Boadi to contest Ahafo Ano South-West NPP parliamentary primary

Adwoa Adutwumwaa Boadi, parliamentary candidate hopeful for the New Patriotic Party Ahafo Ano South-West Constituency in Ashanti Region.

Has said she is very confident of winning the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries.

Adwoa Adutwumwaa was speaking to www.kingdomnews@gh.com reporter Nana Appiah after plant trees in Adadekrom Ahafo afo south- west yesterday,

said “planting trees is not merely an ecological gesture, it is a profound act of love and responsibility towards our nation and health”.

Yesterday’s event was on the theme: “Our forests, our health”.

Adwoa Adutwumwaa said this was premised on the fact that she had been working hard to undertake development projects in the communities.

When asked the percentage of votes she was expecting, she said that “I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I trust and hope the delegates will even give me more votes than I am expecting.
.
“I have marketed myself enough through the number of development projects I have undertaken in the constituency and the excellent working relations I have with my party people and traditional leaders,”

She reminded the delegates that the election was an internal one which should be devoid of insults because it was the party that won at the end of the election.

Madam Adutwumwaa, an accountant, urged women to participate actively in partisan politics to contribute their quota towards the national development agenda.

She noted that women, when given the nod, could play key roles in governance through policy and decision-making.

She promised to transform Ahafo Ano South-West through developmental projects when voted for as the Member of Parliament.
