Hon Safianou Nassamou Akwasi,former aspiring parliamentary candidate for the Suame constituency in Ashanti Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called for unity among the leadership and members to enhance the chances of the party in the 2024 elections “We must endeavour to ensure absolute peace, unity and harmony within our rank and file and use available resources to support and assist former John Dramani Mahama to wrestle political power in the 2024 general election,” he stressed.
The Nana Akufo-Addo-led administration, he said, had failed to deliver on its election campaign promise of creating jobs, stabilizing the economy and implementing social intervention programmes to lift Ghanaians out of poverty.
“What has become of the many factories and jobs they promised to give Ghanaians? What of bringing inflation down and also providing each constituency with $I million? Maybe, they are only buying time to deceive us again”, the Mr safianou added.
