Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon pip Kotoko 1-0 to lift the President Cup, thanks to Konadu Yiadom’s header at the Accra Sport Stadium.
Defender Yiadom broke the deadlock for the home side after heading the ball into the net from a freekick on the 56th minute following an in-swing from Linda Mtange.
The Porcupine Warriors tried in numerous ways to bring the ball back on level terms but the Phobians kept their lines clean.
The result means Hearts of Oak have defended the President Cup and are winners of the betPawa Premier League Matchday 20 Super Clash.

The side started the game on a bright foot, creating chances to unsettle Kotoko in the first minute through Eondone but wasted the chance as keeper Danlad Ibrahim palmed it away.
Another fine opportunity fell on to the path of Benjamin Yorke to have easily put his side infront but his effort was blocked from entering the net.
Kotoko responded quickly as Mukwala fed through but his effort was off target nearly missing the post by inches.
Agyapong won possession from Benjamin Yorke in the midfield as he sets Mfegue racing but it was called for a foul to the host.
Linda got an opportunity to give Hearts the lead few minutes to end the first half but his shot was cleared for a corner by the Porcupine Warriors.
5 minutes was added by the fourth official as both sides huffed-and-puffed swinging possession to end the first half goalless.
The second half resumed with some buoyancy from both sides in search for the first goal.
But it was Hearts of Oak whose questions were answered by Konadu Yiadom heading the ball into the net following a freekick from the midfield by Linda Mtange on the 56th minute.
Kotoko showed brilliance afterwards responding to the play to equalize, the Porcupine Warriors created decent chances but couldn’t find the answer as Mukwala whisked another brilliant opportunity away.
Caleb Amankwah brilliantly stopped a through pass to Mukwala to still keep at bay.
Kotoko were so unlucky on the 83rd minute as Opoku won a free kick in opposition’s area, Agyapong lifted it in , Sherif headed and the ball strucked the crossbar.
A mix of play by both teams was to add another goal but it was Kotoko who piled the most pressure on Hearts of Oak to level up.
After six minutes of additional time the game ended by slim margin in favour of the home side, bagging three point and lifting the President Cup.
