The Kwadaso constituency Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Janet Awuah has donated assorted items to widows, Aged and the needy in the municipality.
More than 300 beneficiaries were presented Rice, cooking oil, sardines and tin tomatoes.
Madam Janet Awuah said the rationale behind the donation was to put smiles on the faces of widows, the needy and the less privileged do what is needful and to support the weak and the underprivileged in society to live dignified lives.
Madam Janet Awuah said the donation was also to thank the people of Kwadaso constituency for their unflinching support for the NPP as well as her political career development.
She advised parents to take advantage of the various government policy interventions, particularly the free Senior High School education policy, and enrol their children in school.
The beneficiaries took turns to express their appreciation to the Women’s Organiser Mrs Janet Awuah for her generosity.
