MTN distribute hampers to mothers of babies born on Christmas and Boxing Days

In the spirit of love and merry making, MTN Ghana on Monday, 26th December 2022 shared hampers to babies mother who were born Christmas boxing day.

Today mtn through their its employees volunteering distributed baby hampers to Okomfo Anokye hospital and children hospital Kumasi in Ashanti region.
MTN distributing a total 50 hampers at Ashanti region.

Speaking to media in Kumasi, Mr Charles Osei Akoto the senior manager of the northern sector in charge of technical and acting for General manager said it was exciting for his outfit is once again show love to the mothers of babies born on Christmas and Boxing Days.

“we are always happy sharing in joy of mothers bringing new life into the world on Christmas day.

The assorted hampers includes babies diapers, baby wipes, baby clothing, toiletries, toys and mtn call credit of 100ghcedis.

Mrs Afia Serwaah Yedwa chief nursing officer and the nurse manager said maternity unit had more than 30 deliveries between December 24 and December 26, 2022.

She expressed gratitude to MTN Ghana Foundation for immense contribution to the hospital.

She thanked the foundation for showing such gesture to mothers and babies.
Madam Vida a mother at the hospital, said

she was surprised and excited upon delivering her son and receiving her first gift from MTN.
“I didn’t expect it and I am an MTN network user”.
