Municipal chief executive urges students to eschew social vices

The Municipal Chief Executive for Juaben in the Ashanti region, Hon Omane Aboagye, has promised to do everything humanly possible to improve the standard of education in the municipality by collaborating with the right stakeholders.

‘It is very sad to inform the pressmen that some schools from Juaben municipal scored zero percent in previous year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). This is totally unacceptable and is unheard of anywhere in Ghana’.
He said this at Agyenkwa fm on wopesuso te sen with Aduannaba Agyenim Boateng this morning.
He explained that measures will be put in place to halt the fall of education standard in the municipality and hinted that important measures that will put teachers, parents and students on toes to improve education, will be put in place.

Hon. Omane Aboagye further expressed readiness to tackle the infrastructure deficit to enhance enrollment.
He however, cautioned parents and guardians to refrain from using their money on funeral but rather guarantee their children a brighter future.

He However assured the inhabitants of Juaben municipality to exercise restraint since the roads would soon be repaired. He said many other remarkable and unprecedented infrastructural achievements had been chalked under the visionary and courageous President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
