*Assembly Members Deserves Better Not Motorcycle __Concern Assembly Members To Government*

The concern Assembly Members in the Ashanti Region have expressed their disappointment in the government for neglected them and only focus with the others.

According to them, they have intimated that governments over the years have not seen the impact of assembly members and the contributions to the development of the country.

They say if all things being equal, assembly members and members of parliament have the same work responsibilities and if the Finance Ministry thinks their work does not matters to national development, they will exercise their constitutional right because we equally elected as members of Parliament and should be resources.

In a press conference organised by some aggrieved group of Assembly members in the region led by Hon Andrews Owusu Sssa Bomso Electoral Area in Afigya Kwabre South District, Hon Mathew Darling Afrancho Electoral Area in Atwima Kwanwoma District , Hon I K Achampong Boatman Electoral Area in Afigya Kwabre North and others .

The leader of the group who is the assembly member at Sasa Bomso Electoral Area in Afigya Kwabre South District, Hon Andrews Owusu explained bitterly that, they the assembly members contributes a lot to development in the country but they only their reward for motorcycle which is very painful.

He added that, they the assembly members did dirty work and others enjoy from their dirty work.

He therefore appealed to the government to do something for assembly members and not motorcycle alone.
