CARRY OUT PROPER MARKINGS ON ROADS—-FRANCIS ADOMAKO TO FEEDER/URBAN ROADS. 

Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged directors at the Feeder and Urban Roads Department in the country to properly mark out Roads in the country.

Speaking to this reporter,  Mr Adomako asked that the road authorities consciously mark out routes and roads especially those in front of schools, markets, places of worship and many others.

This, he noted would eliminate unfortunate accidents that occur in these areas and on these routes.

“It is important that feeder and urban roads directors do proper markings of roads especially those in front of schools, markets and places of worship so that we can prevent some matters. The recent issue that happened at Islamic SHS could have been avoided if speed ramps had been constructed to fend off speeding vehicles”, Mr Adomako intimated.

ADMONITION:
Mr Adomako said road authorities should always be proactive to ensure that Roads constructed are marked out properly.

The incidences, he narrated has been recurring in the country too much.

The regional organiser said it was important measures were taken to prevent unnecessary and untimely deaths.

“Let’s be proactive in the actions and measures we take in addressing issues and for me all should be done to prevent riots and demonstrations when we can work to get issues resolved.
