Member of the Communications team of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region, Felix Joseph Dagher, politically known as Osofo Broni who is also contesting for the Bantama constituency organiser has cautioned the NPP Bantama constituency chairman Fiifi Mensah and the organiser Shaibu to be very careful on some illegal dealings they are doing.
Mr. Dagher said Bantama constituency has ten electoral areas but the chairman and his organizer have planted electoral coordinators at places where the party has no executives there. According to him, new electoral areas can only be recognized when the party elect electoral area coordinators in March 2022.
He called on the Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi) and his executives to come to Bantama and put things in it’s proper place.
He alleged that the member of parliament Hon Asanso Boakye is aware of these illegalities that is going on.
“I am part of those who campaigned for Asanso Boakye but I will not keep quiet when he’s doing the wrong thing. He’s doing all these because he support the incumbent chairman which is bad” he said.
The constituency organiser hopeful noted that the Hon Asanso Boakye should not bring division in Bantama because as the father of the constituency he need to be neutral. He said this because he knows the Hon member support one candidate which shouldn’t be so.
He later alleged again that the MP has been calling delegate to vote for chairman Fiifi Mensah. He made this know on Kingdom FM’s Saturday morning show The Press Conference hosted by Nana Antwi Boasiako.
