A special Taskforce, led by a determined leader,Hon Faustilove Appiah Kannin,the Municipal Chief Executive of Obuasi recently inspected lands affected by the activities of illegal miners in Adaase, Nhyiaeso, and Nyamebekyere.

– Creating numerous uncovered pits that pose a serious danger to the lives of residents, especially children and animals
A Call to Action
The leader of the Taskforce spoke to the illegal miners and gave them an ultimatum to fill the lands. An emergency meeting will be held by MUSEC to intensify enforcement, arrest culprits, and initiate a comprehensive land reclamation exercise.
