The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have joined forces to support Asem Mixed Basic School in the Subin Sub-Metro area.
The Metro Director of KMA led a team from NADMO’s Ashanti Region and Subin Sub-Metro secretariat to donate roofing sheets to the school.
The donation was necessitated by a heavy rainstorm that caused damage to the school’s infrastructure, resulting in leakage and damage to learning materials. The Head teacher reported the incident, and a team from KMA and NADMO assessed the situation.
