Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, stepped out of his vehicle and onto the grounds of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a sense of purpose.

As part of his ongoing tour of the region’s 43 municipalities, he was determined to understand the needs and challenges of the local communities.


With a warm smile, Dr. Amoakohene greeted the municipal staff, engaging them in a lively discussion about the municipality’s progress and challenges. He listened intently as they shared their ideas and concerns, his expression reflecting his commitment to finding solutions.



Next, he embarked on an inspection of ongoing and unfinished projects, his keen eye picking up on areas that required improvement. The minister’s dedication to ensuring the completion of these projects was evident in his thoughtful questions and constructive feedback.


The final leg of his visit took him to the traditional leaders of the municipality, where he paid a courtesy call, strengthening relationships and fostering collaboration. The chiefs and elders welcomed him warmly, expressing their appreciation for his genuine interest in their community’s well-being.
