*Retain me to break the “8” – Wontumi*

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region Bernard Antwi Boasiako (a. k.a chairman Wontumi) today Thursday November 25, 2021 paid a surprise visit at Kingdom FM radio station in Kumasi.

The morning show host Isaac Ekow Darko aka JB had a brief live interview with chairman Wontumi.

Kingdomnewsgh.com reporter Nana Appiah reports that the chairman who was accompanied by the former District Chief Executive of Nsuta District Assembly Boateng Duncan as he promised to come back for an extensive interview.

Chairman Wontumi indicated in the brief interview that there’s no pressure on him going into the regional executives elections in March 2022. He noted that the election will center on what the various candidates has done for the NPP.

“I have won two elections for the party as the chairman in the Ashanti Region and I’m very optimistic that I will win the upcoming elections” he said.

On the issue of the NPP having its own party office, he noted that he has secured a land and construction of the party office has reached the lentil level. He reiterated that the current party office is a place he rented for the party.

“2024 elections will be tougher than 2020 but NPP will break the “8” because it is a movement and stronger than apatite. The delegate should vote for him to use his experience to help the party win the 2024 elections” he said.

On the issue of Agenda 47/47, chairman Wontumi said it will surely happen in 2024. He indicated that sometimes what God plan to do changes. He made a synario that God planned to use 40 days to take the Israelites to the land of canan but rather it took 40 years.

He called on all NPP members to rally behind him to win.
