The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahanta Ano South West District Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Mr Abubakar Sedik, has made a promise to the management and staff of the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly to reward three best workers of the Assembly at the end of the year 2025 with his one month salary.
Mr Abubakar Sedik made this publicly known at a staff durbar on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Mankranso, the District capital.
The DCE has tasked the District Coordinating Director to put together a committee with the objective of awarding best workers of the Assembly with his one month salary. He said the money will be shared among the three best workers who will be selected by the committee.
According to the DCE, his gesture is to motivate workers to work selflessly to support him achieve his goal of developing the District.
“I am here to empower you to do your best for the development of our people,” he stated.
The DCE charged the workers to be punctual at work and desist from habitual absenteeism.
