“TCDA, Ghana Armed Forces Explore Partnership on Tree Crops Expansion”

The Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), Hon. Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Defence Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces, Lieutenant General William Agyapong.

The visit was to formally introduce himself and the Authority and to express his sincere appreciation to the Chief of the Defence Staff for designating a team from the Armed Forces to participate in the just ended Ghana Tree Crops Investment Summit, Exhibition and Awards 2026.

Lieutenant General Agyapong warmly welcomed the CEO and commended him for the successful organization of the summit, as well as for his foresight in opening-up the tree crops sector to the Ghana Armed Forces and other national security institution.

Discussions during the meeting also focused on potential areas of collaboration, particularly the availability of land for the expansion of selected tree crops under the Authority’s mandate.
