MTN donates items toward Eid ul Fitr celebration in the Ashanti Region

MTN Ghana has presented items such as bags of rice, packs of mineral water, packs of soft drinks a ram to the Ashanti  Regional Muslim Community at kumasi.

 

The presentation, which is an annual affair is to support the celebration of Eidul Fitr. According to the company supporting communities is an essential part of its corporate responsibility.

 

Mr Simon Amoh (Senior Manger for General Trade -Northern Ghana) is working on behalf of the General Manager for MTN underscored the gesture as a support, done yearly across the country.

He said the donation is carried out in recognition of the fact that members of the Islamic faith are an extension of MTN society and are also part of their subscribers.

The move according to him is to reward them for the loyalty MTN enjoys from them as they patronize their products and services and also empathize with them during the period of Ramadan.

“We are committed to supporting you in meaningful ways. Ramadan is a time of joy and celebration, and we are privileged to be part of this special occasion” he said.

On his part, the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam expressed his gratitude to the network for their continued support and collaboration over the years and prayed fervently for them.
“Thank you and may Allah continue to guide and bless you in all your endeavours”, he prayed for them.
