Manhyia North MP donates items to support schools in his constituency.

The Manhyia North Member of Parliament (MP), Hon Akwasi Konadu, has donated some school items to the school in his constituency.

The items donated included; 270 dual desks,4000 Execise books, 200 KG chairs 20 Tables which are expected to be distributed across schools in the constituency.
Among other reasons, the items are to help increase access to education in the constituency and provide infrastructure for the schools.

On behalf of member of Parliament, the constituency executives lead by the first vice chairman Mr Ernest Kwaku Agyei donate the items to the schools.

Mr Ernest Kwaku Agyei explained that children in the constituency deserve quality education; hence, the MP motivation to donate the items.

According to him, the government alone cannot provide all infrastructure for schools, for which reason all must endeavour to support.

Mrs Mavis Owusu Metro logistics officer stood in for Metro Director, commended the MP for the kind gesture.
She believes the donation would go a long way to improve teaching and learning in the constituency.

The headmistress of Yannyawoso Presby primary school Kate Owusu who represents all the headteachers also express her gratitude to Hon member of Parliament by saying “the entire directorate, students and teachers are proud of you, Hon. Akwasi Konadu.”
