Dr Afriyie Akoto presidential hopeful for New Patriotic Party (NPP), has suspended his 10-days campaign tour of the Ashanti Region following the demise of former First lady, Mrs Theresa Kuffour
Mr. Akoto announced this at his residence at Kumasi.
Dr Akoto team in announcing the suspension said a date for resumption of the tour will be communicated later.
“We didn’t hear good news yesterday. We just received some very sad news that our former first lady has passed on and it makes it impossible for us to continue this campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.
