Akpeteshi drinkers in the Central Region have threatens to demonstrate against the President Akuffo Addo over economic hardship Ghanaians are experiencing.
Speaking in an interview with *Nana Tawiah Power FM/Tv XYZ news* some of the akpeteshi drinkers in the Mfantseman Municipality said,they said,the quantity of akpeteshi they drink have reduced drastically over it’s price hike and economy hardship.
According to them,they use to buy akpeteshi one cedis previously but as at they the price has increased beyond their imagination.
They said,they will soon called on their members to go on sit down strike.
In addition,they said,no amount of akpeteshi makes them satisfied and intoxicated since the price has increased.
They also revealed that,the Economy is hard to extend that they can’t buy akpeteshi and drink to their satisfied.
They are now calling on the government to reduce the price of akpeteshi for them for they don’t believe the Russian and Ukraine war has also affected the price of akpeteshi.
