Stephen Asamoah Boateng (ASABEEE), aspiring national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has completed his tour of the Eastern Region with his seven pronged campaign message including the idea of negotiating for a 40 percent appointment for party persons when the NPP wins power.
Explaining at places like Ofoase Ayirebi, Afram Plains North and South as well as others, Asabeee said the 60/40 agenda would help bridge the gap between the Party and Government. Appointees will relate the the Party grassroot much better than it has been. “It is important that we all work to build a solid party and that’s where I come in because having been in the trenches I know the issues of the grassroots and my determination is to work to galvanise the support we need and also cause those who toil with us to be given appointments when we secure power hence my constant mention of the 60/40 agenda”, Asabeee stressed.
He also talked of strengthening the Party structures to make it solid and vibrant with each Executive given specific assignment to be delivered.

At Afram Plains North and South, Asabeee said he will work to ensure that women and young people in the NPP are empowered with skills development training. He talked of mentoring the youth and seeking job opportunities for them. “When our youth and women are empowered with the right skills and training they can become employable and ready for the job market as well as set up their own business”, Asabeee stated.
Again, Asabeee talked of putting the Party finances in good order in order to achieve our objectives as a political party.
Asabeee also indicated his strong desire to set up a Welfare fund across all levels to cater for party members.
In delivering his seventh campaign message, Asabeee came to live with his in depth knowledge of well thought out strategy to outwit the main opponent, NDC, and beat them in 2024 General Elections. “Defeating the NDC requires a strong Party Chairman who is in tune with the grassroots, a person who is fearless and bold.” With Asabeee as Chairman of NPP, our opponents will know they have met their match”, he stressed to a resounding applause from the Constituency Executives.

Delegates in the communities visited reacted positively to the message form Asabeee.
Some noted that the agenda 60/ 40 was a laudable one since it possesses the motivation to get party persons to work to achieve results knowing that they will be rewarded when they win power.
Some of the youthful elements commended the former Information Minister for thinking so much about them by offering to empower them to become useful to their communities.
“We believe Asabeee has the right message to push party people to work hard knowing that we will be rewarded when the toil bears fruit in good time”, a delegate from Afram Plains North posited.
