*Obuasi Bitters CEO Dr. Collins Amo Rebuilds Fire‑Razed Pomposo R/C Primary School*

Obuasi — In a heart‑warming turn of events, Dr. Collins Amo, the visionary CEO of Aduro Ye Herbal Center – the makers of Obuasi Bitters, Obuasi Gringo Bitters, Obuasi 442 Ginger Liquor and Obuasi Baby Diapers – has turned the clock back on a year‑long nightmare for the pupils and teachers of Pomposo R/C Primary B.

A devastating fire had razed the school’s main block last year, destroying fridges, textbooks (some gifted by the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation), computers, laptops, printers and TV sets worth thousands of cedis. The loss left the community scrambling for a place to learn.

After the school authorities reached out, Dr. Amo, an old student of the school, stepped in and funded the complete reconstruction of the facility. The new block now boasts a spacious staff office, modern washrooms and a headmaster’s office, providing a bright, safe environment for lessons to resume.

Speaking at the handing‑over ceremony, Dr. Amo said the project aligns with his company’s commitment to uplifting education in Obuasi. “We can’t leave everything in the hands of government alone. We must all support,” he told the gathered crowd.

The gesture comes on the heels of another generous act: just two weeks earlier, Aduro Ye Herbal Center donated 5,000 baby diapers to health facilities across Obuasi as part of its corporate social‑responsibility programme.

Kwabena Owusu Nketia, the Obuasi East Municipal Director of Education, praised Dr. Amo for his “continuous investment in education and for supporting meaningful initiatives within the community.” Headmistress Regina Ocansey echoed that sentiment, describing the intervention as “timely and life‑saving” and recalling how teaching and learning had been severely disrupted for a full year.

The rebuilt school block now stands as a testament to the power of community‑driven philanthropy and a reminder that when a single act of kindness is amplified, it can reshape futures.
