A group called itself Piaseman Association in United state of America cut sod for Piase Dubar ground.
The project which happens to be a first of its kind in the community is expected to spearhead an agenda to bring development to the people in the Area.


The Dubar ground will and open space to host events and community engagement when completed.

At a short sod-cutting ceremony which was preceded by the clearing of the site by excavators residents of the community expressed their profound gladness about the project.


Mr Kwame Christopher wirudu who spoke to the media on behalf of the Piase residents in USA indicated that the group are poised to develop the community with the help of their acquaintances in the United States of America.

“We are super proud to have started a project here in Piase and then continue our growth. We determined to work with the chiefs to bring connections from the US to really see to develop Piase, to bring jobs in the area and also build developmental projects such as this”.



“The Dubar ground project is a modernized complex structure which will serve many purposes to the people of Piase . We are going to put up a full Dubar ground.”

On his part, Krontihene of Piase Nana Akwasi -Tra II who stood in for the Chief of Piase Nana Osei Afriyie Gyamera expressed his gratitude towards the paradigm shift and era of development under his reign


“I want to say a big thank you to Piaseman Community in USA and want to use this opportunity to call on the community to Offer their support in effort to develop our community, it has always been our dream to construct a befitting community centre for my people because as it stands now we don’t have a place for engagement and community meetings so when the opportunity came i totally gave in into the project.”


“Development in the community has not been the best because the community has been deprived of many social amenities such as police station, community centre, palace and public place of convenience, so I want to call on residents out of the country
to come back home to assist us.”
