The Sekyere Afram Plains constituency celebrated a milestone with the sod-cutting ceremony for the Drobonso College of Health Sciences.

The institution, fully funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), will be the first of its kind in the Ashanti Region, training medical, health, and allied health professionals.

The college aims to expand access to tertiary education, create jobs, and boost local economic growth, strengthening healthcare delivery in the region and nation. Community leaders, including the Drobonsohene and Ashanti Regional Minister, joined the MP to show support for the project, highlighting its potential impact on the community’s future.
