The Ashanti regional treasurer for National Democratic Congress NDC, Mr Marvin Norman,has donated food items to the Muslim community in all the Forty seven (47) constituencies support Muslim fasting celebration.
The items were Bags of rice, Boxes of lipton,Boxes of Sugar.
The beneficiaries were from all the Forty seven (47) constituencies and opinion leaders for onward distribution to Muslims in the Constituencies.
Marvin Norman Commended all Muslims for peacefully observing this year’s Ramadan despite their individual challenges.
The donation, he said, was to support Muslims who have been involved in fasting.
He explained that his believed is that it was essential that all Ghanaians show love and compassion to their Muslim neighbours, especially during the celebration of Ramadan.
The donations event was attended by all the 47 constituencies executives and party members, who expressed gratitude to Mr Marvin Norman for his Contributions.
