The Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA) has taken a significant step towards promoting health and wellness among its staff and management by launching its maiden Breast Cancer Awareness Month Campaign.

The event, held under the leadership of CEO Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, aimed to educate and screen participants, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility in creating awareness and supporting those battling breast cancer.

Dr. Okrah stressed the importance of empowering one another through knowledge and compassion, highlighting that every small action brings us closer to a future free from the fear of breast cancer.

The Ghana Canada Medical Center provided medical support and expertise, facilitating educational sessions and breast cancer screening exercises.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Ghana Private Sector Competitiveness Programme (GPSCP II), led by Madam Juliana Ofori-Karikari, demonstrating the value of partnership in promoting health and wellness.

The initiative aligns with the “Resetting Health Agenda” under the MahamaCares program, which emphasizes the need for proactive health interventions and wellness promotion across all sectors. By prioritizing breast cancer awareness, TCDA is contributing to a broader effort to promote health and wellness in Ghana.
