“Sekyere Afram Plains MP Shines at Africa Energy Forum”

Member Parliament for the good people of Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency, Hon Hajia Nasira Afrah had the privilege of attending the Africa Energy Forum held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), a premier platform for shaping the future of energy on the continent. As part of Ghana’s delegation, I joined Africa’s brightest minds and boldest voices to discuss critical issues shaping the energy sector.

The forum provided a unique opportunity for high-level discussions, bilateral meetings, and exploring opportunities for investment, innovation, and collaboration. Led by the capable and forward-looking Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. Richard Gyan-Mensah, Ghana made a strong showing, championing our vision for a just, inclusive, and sustainable energy transition.

As a representative of Sekyere Afram Plains, I ensured that my constituency’s voice, potential, and aspirations were represented in every conversation. I believe that true transformation must be inclusive, and rural Ghana must rise with the rest of the continent.

The forum was an excellent platform for networking and learning from experts in the energy sector. We discussed critical opportunities for investment, innovation, and collaboration, all aimed at powering Africa’s development through clean and resilient energy systems.

Ghana’s participation in the Africa Energy Forum reaffirms our commitment to a sustainable energy future. We are dedicated to promoting clean energy solutions, increasing access to energy, and reducing our carbon footprint.

The experience was enriching, and I look forward to applying the knowledge and connections gained to promote energy development in Sekyere Afram Plains and Ghana as a whole.
